Which trip is business, and which is private
If your company has to be able to show which use of its company cars is business and which is private, that is the question everyone in Bulgaria calls данък уикенд — the “weekend tax”.
FieldWake judges every trip a minute or two after it starts — so the after-hours trips are marked before anyone asks.
Demonstration data
Private by default. Business only with a reason.
One trip — Saturday's, to Balchik — goes through everything the mark does.
The steps play by themselves; press one to go back to it.
- 01 You set the fleet's working hours — days, hours, days off, time zone.
- 02 Every trip that starts outside the schedule goes into the After-hours report — as “Private”.
- 03 Only a manager or the owner can change it to “Business” — and only with a reason.
- 04 The reason, the role and the time stay with the trip.
- 05 Changing it back needs a reason too.
- 06 Every change — either way — goes into the audit, with the old mark and the new one.
- Private → Business manager Emergency delivery of a pump to the Balchik site Mon 08:12
- Business → Private owner The pump was collected on Monday — the trip is private Mon 09:40

Change the hours — the old trips stay as they were
A trip is judged against the schedule in force when it starts. A later change to the schedule never rewrites it.
Demonstration data
A machine that works around the clock — a combine in season, a refrigerated trailer — is set to “Around the clock”, and its trips are never after hours. Switch it off to see the difference.

The mark and the reason — in one table
In the CSV export every trip carries its mark and its reason. The workbook has a sheet of its own, “After-hours”, with the mark, the reason, the role that set it, and when.

FieldWake shows the mechanism — the mark and the reason — and records every change in the audit. What is required of your company, and whether this is enough, is for your accountant to judge.
It marks; it does not forbid. And it does not decide for you.
- It does not stop the trip
A trip outside working hours is not stopped and nothing is locked — it is marked, and if you ask for it, an alert comes too: “Used after hours”.
- It does not look back
The report starts on the day you set the schedule; trips before that are not judged.
- It does not decide for you
Which trip is business is decided by a person, with a reason. What is required of your company is for your accountant to judge.
What people ask
What is данък уикенд?
It is what people in Bulgaria call the question of which use of company cars is business and which is private — literally, the “weekend tax”. FieldWake does not answer the tax question. It shows the mechanism — the mark and the reason — and records every change in the audit. Whether that is enough is for your accountant to judge.
Does FieldWake stop the car outside working hours?
No. The trip is not stopped and nothing is locked — it is marked. If you ask for it, an alert comes too: “Used after hours”.
Who can change “Private” to “Business”?
Only a manager or the owner, and only with a reason. The reason, the role and the time stay with the trip — and every change goes into the audit.
If I change the working hours, will the old trips be rewritten?
No. Every trip is judged against the schedule in force when it starts. A later change to the schedule never rewrites it.
And the combine that harvests at night?
A machine that works around the clock — a combine in season, a refrigerated trailer — is set to “Around the clock”, and its trips are never after hours.
When does the report start?
On the day you set the schedule. Trips before that are not judged.
